Situations change, people change. What once was is often nothing more than a memory. Or sometimes not even remembered. I hope the people I was once close to, even if I do not talk to them as frequently, are still open to reestablish, or rather re-recognize strong bonds formed in the past. Distance and separation is quite often inevitable. But we most nearly always have a choice whether or not we will allow this distance to be something that sparks new and interesting conversation, and intrigue and wonder into people we thought we knew so well, or just an invisible wall of separation.
