Because I have been recording things on paper elsewhere, I haven't gotten to transferring things here, which I really ought to on a a more regular basis. It has been a pretty intense week. Winter formal was yesterday, which was a very nice experience. I made my own week more difficult by memorizing Hiragana and Katakana during school, a most intriguing endeavor. Much of it was by rote, but forcing myself to memorize so many characters in what I would like to believe is a relatively short amount of time has taught me much regarding learning such things in general. I am planning on memorizing a good number of hanzi (Chinese characters) in the near future. I am watching Death Note (デスノート)。
