Today

Today was rather busy. In the morning I cleaned my room. I ate some food for lunch, and then cleaned my room some more. I already ranted about cleaning my room enough yesterday. I have way too much stuff. Gift-giving, as a tradition, can be a very good thing. Some gifts however, mainly gifts given for the sake of giving a gift (such as for a Birthday, sometimes on holidays, etc.) often result in the accumulation of items that don't bear much significant meaning besides it being "polite" for the giver of the gift. I know when I'm an Uncle/Father/Grandfather, I will not hesitate to give away money or disgustingly practical gifts to certain people (mainly family) because too much stuff becomes burdensome and almost selfish for the giver (giving for the sake of being polite etc.)

I got in a lot of driving practice. To drive to Dr. Ota's office for contact lenses I had to get in a good dose of freeway.

I tried Guppy House with Mom. We ate some popcorn chicken and fried rice. Nom-nom-nom. Very good.

I saw Harry Potter (Half Blood Prince) with Shelley, Nandita, and Dumett. It was quite suspenseful. And wow-- these movies are pretty dark. If I were a little kid that loved Harry Potter the books I might be terrified. I have yet to read the books.

Upon returning home Matt and Nicole were finishing up watching Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon of which I've seen fairly recently. The characters of that movie still don't really appeal to me.
